Study Circles

Guided group reading — the lodge education evening, online.

A study circle is simpler than a research group: a handful of members reading the same material on a shared rhythm and discussing it — the classic lodge education evening, carried online.

Standing circles:

  • The Journey Circle — newcomers walking the ten Journey steps together, one step per session.
  • The Ritual Reading Circle — one complete working per season from the archive, read aloud and discussed scene by scene.
  • The Symbolism Circle — a symbol a month, from the core emblems outward.
  • Listening Evenings — a ceremony’s music heard entire, with its text in hand.

Circles are announced in the newsletter and coordinated in the forum; any member may propose and host one. A good circle needs only three things: a fixed day, a named reading, and someone willing to pour the (virtual) coffee.
